Lots of Inspiration

Today was the first day of the Trade Show and everywhere I looked there was beautiful inspiration. I spent the day wandering the show and I got lots of photos, ordered lots of beautiful product and met with some of the wonderful manufacturers

Here are a few photos from my day.

The Ranger Booth

Look how this new Tim Die was used on this card.
It really looks like wood paneling
(yes we ordered all the dies)

Diecuts with a View had this Model Runway set up in their booth and these amazing dresses are all made from PAPER!

This one was my favorite.
Not only the design and detail but the colors just popped.

A photo of all three, these dresses were just stunning and the details were amazing.
I am going to have to find out who these artists are.
Some layouts that I thought were great.
It is a shame that you can't see all the glitter

Of course I ordered a whole bunch of fun stuff and I am going to order more tomorrow.

Sorry I could only upload a few photos. The miles I walked today, the freezing weather and all the orders I placed have left me exhausted and I need some sleep before I do it all again.

Guess what I did in LA

On Wednesday I spent the day with Tim Holtz taking a class that lasted from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
How lucky am I!

Here are all the techniques on tags

and yesterday I spend a private day with some of the vendors and have already placed 20 orders for some very cool and exciting stuff. The show does not even start till tomorrow.

I have no idea what the temperature is here in California but i can't seem to warm up. Good job on Wednesday I spent the day pounding, inking and stamping up a frenzy with some of the latest Tim Stamps, Tim Sizzix Diecuts and newest Ranger Stuff. It took my mind of the frostbite in my toes.

P.S. Did I mention that on Wednesday I spent the day with Tim?

I am in Los Angeles

I left the store Tuesday to fly to LA for an event that starts right before CHA (the trade show)
I had to get a connection in Atlanta and the flight was late getting in. Luckily I had my own personal satellite system directing me to what gate I was getting to and what gate I had to go to for the next flight.

I made it to the gate, my luggage did not

I arrived at 3:00am Florida time. My Luggage did not!

Wanna see some very cool cards?

We have some new stamps and HoneyComb paper in stock.
The stamps are made to go with this amazing paper product,
(although you can use them separately as well)

Here is a photo of the board showing the front of the cards

and here are the insides of the cards
they are 3 dimensional, pop up and so easy to do.
In fact you won't believe how easy they are to do

Pretty amazing stuff!!!
Come on in and see them for yourself

To die for...

Yep, the puns just get worse but luckily the quality of the new Spellbinders dies make up for it. Another sneak peek. I can see lots and lots and lots of uses for this lattice rectangle.

These are just a couple more of the legion that will be available after the CHA show in a couple of weeks.

I like the Victorian flavor of these elegant posts.  I think I can use these to add a baroque feel too.  Can't wait to get my hands on them!

Spellbinders: Are they here yet?

No,  but Spellbinders will be releasing a whole new line of dies at the CHA show in a couple of weeks. They are only just starting to reveal the details. I've already got a couple of great ideas for these.

So get your thinking caps on AND check back tomorrow for another advance viewing of the new line!
