Sketch It Class

Rosmary had her monthly Sketch It Class when I was in California.

Every month she provides a different Sketch and then makes three very different cards based on the Sketch. You file the Sketch and the cards in your binder then when you are lacking for inspiration you pull out the binder and can easily create a masterpiece.




This class is very popular, I can't wait to see what she has come up with for February :)

At the Airport

Well, here I am at Long Beach Airport. I am catching the Red Eye tonight to get home to warmer weather. It has been so cold and wet here I am looking forward to thawing out!

I saw lots of exciting new things and ordered tons. We should start seeing some arrivals next week.

Don't forget we are also doing the BasicGrey Layouts of the Month at the store. We will be starting them sometime in March and if you sign up for 12 months at the end you get a really cute album that is exclusively available for this club.

The Christine Adolph New Oceana Collection I mentioned earlier this week is just stunning up close. I ordered the entire collection and hopefully it will get here soon. I kind of went overboard on ordering Beach Collections but it was so hard to get just one or two. Luckily they can be used for other layouts than just beach.

I also ordered some really cool stamps from some new companies that I discovered at CHA. I can't wait for them to get to the store. Also Copic is coming out with some new colors and I have those coming as well. I ordered tons of new mediums from various companies that will make your lives sparkle and shimmer and also tons of new dies and punches from various companies. I bought lots of flowers and bling of course. I found a terrific new Paper Trimmer as well as a great adhesive that is a good substitute for our beloved Kokoyo.

I can't remember all that I bought but, I expect Jeff our UPS Guy will be getting a workout with all the deliveries.

I would blog and add more photos but my feet and now my fingers are frozen :)

Tim Holtz Die Cut Machine

Here is a picture of The new Tim Holtz Die Cut Machine. The sides of the Suitcase fold down so that you can run your dies through. How Cool.

Although this machine is not available for a couple of months I have pre-ordered it. As we already have all those machines spoken for I will be placing another order this week. If you would like one please call the store and have your name put on the list.

I have a class at 7:00am tomorrow so I had better get some sleep :)

Creative Imaginations

Sorry I am not blogging more frequently. It is difficult, as you can see from this post it is 1:50 in the morning and I just got back to the hotel. It is still very cold here but, at least it has stopped raining. I did quite a lot of shopping today and here is one of the lines that I bought.

These are new Baby lines from Creative Imaginations. These papers can however be used for any subject not just babies. I loved the vibrant colors, so Florida!

I took a class before getting back to the hotel and I was lucky enough to be given a New Tim Holtz Sizzix Die as part of the class. My favorite, the bird cage die!! I found out that the dies are in stock, they were not supposed to be shipped till April but, we will be getting them in about two weeks. If you want us to hold any of them for you, please call the store and asked to be put on the list.
