Fred the Bunny

A very sweet customer comes in yesterday and gave me an adorable Chocolate Bunny for Easter.

I was so smitten by him that I placed him next to my computer as I worked and I called him Fred.

I had to go in the back office to fax an order in, when I came out Fred was missing and this note was attached to my computer

Rosemary got green with envy and decided to torture him!!!

She hung him in the ribbon area.

Then she stabbed him with a knife

She threw him in the trash

She even tried to give him away

I managed to get him away from the Evil One and all was quiet for a while.

I had a class to teach at 6:00 and thought I would show him to the class.

I went to get him and he was missing.
About 15 minutes later I get a text to go the ESS Facebook Page and see these photos!

He had been bunnyknapped

She took him home
Then she forced him to drink alcohol, oh how evil!!!
She introduces him to SheilaWhen I got to work the next morning he had managed to escape
and came back to the store but look what happened!

Now what are we going to do with all the bunnies????

Someone bring Rosemary a Chocolate Bunny quick before she decides to torture his babies!!

We have recently talked to a few people who are new to the area and looking to make some new friends so we thought it might be fun to start having a day set aside in the week where people can come in and meet others.

So if you are new to the area? or interested in meeting other like minded people.
Join us on Tuesdays to crop and make new friends.

We were going to call this:

The "I need new friends cos my old ones don't understand me" Club
or
The "I just moved here and I don't know anyone and I am lonely" Club
or
The" I have kids, thank god they finally went to school so I can get a life" club
or
The "I have decided that the housework and cooking can wait" club
or
The "it's all about me, and I am going to do what I want" Club
or
The "I just love Michelle and want to hang out with her more" Club

but these were all too long so we decided to simply call it

"Twisted Tuesdays"

So mark your calendars to join us on Tuesday's for scrapbooking, stamping, card making or anything related to paper and lots of laughter. Who knows you just might make a new Best Friend :)

There is no charge but don't forget to call us to reserve a space.

Rosemary is a BIG FAT CHEATER

The title does not imply that Rosemary is Big cos she is of average height or that she is fat cos she is quite svelte.

It just means she is a BIG FAT CHEATER. You can see that our quarter piles are even. I earned my quarters! Rosemary begged for hers and did not earn them. She even tied a bow for a customer to get a quarter.

Rosemary was quite upset today because her stack was smaller and so Myrna who I thought was the CUTEST customer ever came and gave Rosemary more quarters so that the piles were even. . . . hmm . . . Myrna you are no longer the Cutest customer ever.

If Rosemary could just learn not to swear she would not have to give her quarters to me !

If you tilt the photo it looks like I have the most quarters!

Another great class coming in April by Cheryl Mezzetti

You will be using Rock Candy Distress Stickles and lots of ink in this fun book.

Today was the first meeting of our Altered Book Club. This club will meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 3:00pm. Can't wait to see everyone's creative journey in this club. If you are interested in joining this group call the store and ask us about it.

Pathetic

As you can see from the photo below, I have been quite good with my language lately and well, Rosemary has not.





Rosemary has no quarters. None, Nada, Diddly Squat. Because she has been using the bad word. A lot. I, on the other hand am an Angel :)

A customer comes in today, I will call her Ms. Pushover. The conversation goes something like this.

Rosemary to Ms. Pushover: Please swear, I have no quarters.

Ms. Pushover: I will just give you some quarters.

Rosemary: No you can't give them to me I have to earn them, please swear, please!

Ms. Pushover (who opens her purse): No here, I will give you some.

Me: No you can't give her any, she has to earn them

Rosemary: Please, please, please swear, I need some quarters. (said in a pathetic whiny voice)

Ms. Pushover: Just take the quarters.

Rosemary: You have to say the F word! (she is at this point almost on her knees, begging her to swear)

Ms. Pushover: Ok. F@#$, F@#$, F@#$, F@#$, F@#$. There you go here are 5 quarters.

Like I said, Pathetic!!!

National Scrapbook Day . . . . . .

is coming on Saturday May 1st. We are planning one of our huge fun filled events.

Quickutz Club

Today is the Quickutz Club Meeting for March. Members get a free die and make a project using it. The Scrapbook Members made this cute Vintage Easter Layout and got the Chick Die, while the Cardmakers got the Chocolate Bunny Die and made this bright card.
