and of course just like the last two years we will be replicating them for you.
We will take it from lots of steps and techniques down to just a few to make it easy for you.

All the pieces will be in baskets, so when you get a few spare minutes you can pop by and make them.

The Creative Cafe is back!!!!

By popular request, we are bringing back the Creative Cafe.

YEAH!!!!!

The Creative Cafe is the creative zone in our store.
Our version of a scrappy happy hour.

We will design a Scrapbook Layout and put all the pieces to recreate that layout in a basket.
Sometimes we will even have a project for you to make.

You come in with a friend or by yourself, grab the basket, pull up a chair, copy the layout, chat and have a few laughs.

The layout will be out for about a week or so or until supplies run out.
We then put out a new one.

This first week we are using Creative Imaginations Papers and Luminarte H2O's to make this calming beach layout. The cost is $12

Please bring your own adhesive and scissors

Just a very quick post as we are still having fun at the Murder, Mystery Crop

This is the Altered Tag for November and you can come in anytime between 2:30 and 4:00pm tomorrow (Sunday) to make this for just $2.00

If you are going to be at the store for the SMASH club tomorrow hang around after to make the tag.

We will be using a couple of Tim Holtz Sizzix dies, distress inks and Luminarte H2O's in shimmering luscious colors.

I don't know which one of us it is but I have my fingers crossed that it is . . .

What I can tell you is that between 12:00 and 2:00pm we will be making this bookmark

(if you are coming to our crop (SOLD OUT) then she can sign them for you in the evening)

and at 6:00pm we will start our Murder Mystery and Dinner.

After that we can get down to some serious cropping!!!

BASIC GREY PAGE OF THE MONTH $60 for 3 months

Each month you will receive a kit filled with supplies to create a double-page layout with a full set of instructions and color photo of the completed layout for you to copy Basic Grey Style or you have the option of doing the Layout ESS Style. If we have any left over kits they will be offered at $25 per kit.

Sew Ribbon from We R Memory Keepers

We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon takes the concept of stitching thread to now threading ribbon! Like the Sew Easy which allows users to create beautiful stitched patterns on all types of projects, crafters can now make beautiful designs with their ribbon! Crafters have been using ribbon for years to embellish their projects, and now they can not only easily apply the ribbon to the project, but instead of doing simple lines and bows, they can make interesting designs like: weave, flowers, scallop, leaf, shoelace and zig zag. The new product line by We R Memory Keepers also includes 10 ribbon packs in various colors and textures, and extra “needles.”

We will be doing a Make n Take with this tool sometime in the next couple of weeks. We will let you know when we have it on the schedule.

Bring your Smash Book to share your interpretation of this fun new hip style of scrapbooking. You will do a little project and share ideas. For those of you that were at last months meeting you should be bringing with you 15-20 items to Smash for the multiple layering assignment.

It's time for Stamp of the Month

We are doing Stamp of the Month early this month.

Friday November 11 2:00-4:00pm or 6:00-8:00pm

Magnolia Club

Sunday November 6th at 1:00pm is our Monthly Magnolia Club Meeting
There is no charge for the meeting but you will need to R.S.V.P. so that we know how many Make n Takes to prepare.

You must also bring your own markers or pencils to color your Tilda image as well as Scissors, Adhesive and Pop Dots.

Don't forget to bring some cards or other Paper Art pieces you have made that feature these adorable stamp images.

Exciting Announcement

We have a

SPECIAL GUEST TEACHER

Eli Harlan, Paper Crafts Designer, Teacher and Blogger

Eli has been working in the scrapbooking industry since she began writing for Memory Makers Magazine in 2000. She wrote numerous articles for the magazine and worked on several books for the Books Division. In 2001 she was accepted as a Design Team member for Spellbinders Paper Arts. She served two, year-long terms. During her first year on the team, Spellbinders approached Eli with several writing projects. During her third year with the company, she transitioned into being their main copy writer. Eli has been published in several craft magazines and currently writes a crafty blog called Frillions by eli. In June, Eli moved from Denver to Palm Beach and she is thrilled to be joining us for classes.

Let the boys have their day. This class features Authentique papers in oranges and blues and will help you transform several lunch sacks into a charming mini scrapbook.
