Michelle Pulls A Fast One...

I have to say, sometimes it's hard to tell who really runs this joint.

Nancy and Michelle have a new game.  Perfect Nancy cleans (a little) and organizes (if that's what you want to call it...)  and then she tells Michelle things like, "That is it!  You are not allowed to order any more of (insert your favorite product here)."  Michelle, who seems to feel a little guilty that Nancy actually tries to organize things for her paycheck, promises she will not order anymore of (insert favorite product here).  Then, as soon as Nancy turns her back, she orders it.  It's really fun to watch....

So the other day Michelle lets us know we're getting a few new colors of paint.  Naturally, Nancy starts moaning right away... "Oh my gosh!  Where are we going to put them?  There's no room for them!  What do we need them for?"

Michelle immediately started back peddling.  Don't worry, she says.  It's just a few colors of paint, she says.  It'll be no problem, she says.  All the while. she's holding her hands about six inches apart, promising Nancy that the paints would fit in an area that small.

Today I came in and this is what I found:

Yup, just a few paints.  I'm sure it took no time at all for Nancy to whip that display together... hee hee heeeee ;)

Good thing for you that Michelle likes to order things behind Nancy's back... these new Pebeo Studio Acrylic paints are pretty cool!  They're thick and creamy and the metallic blended colors have incredible luster...  I can't wait to get my grubby little paint brushes in them!  Michelle already used them in her last Gelli Printing Plate class and they were a big hit...

I found a cool You Tube video that is completely in French; however, if you've muddled your way through any of Nancy's classes you'll probably have developed an ear for understanding the unintelligible...;)  (Don't yell at me for that one - Michelle's the one who always says you can't understand anything PN says!)  In any case, the video doesn't show techniques or anything, but you can really see the texture of the paints.... enjoy!
