ESS Welcomes Karen Burniston!!!!

(Drum roll, please.....)  da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da.....

OK Happy Cardmakers... the announcement you have been waiting for is FINALLY here!

Yay!  Karen Burniston will be here at Everything Scrapbook and Stamps on June 1st and 2nd!!! 







Karen Burniston is a lover of pop-ups and interactive paper projects. She is a licensed designer for Sizzix, where many of her designs have been turned into easy-to-use dies, allowing anyone to create exciting pop-ups! Karen also designs interactive chipboard albums for Echo Park. She lives in Katy, Texas with her husband, twin teenagers, and two dogs. She adores the movie “The Princess Bride” and her favorite condiment is ketchup. Her work has been published in numerous paper crafting publications and she teaches at stores and events throughout the world. Free Demonstration

On June 1st from 10am-12:00 Karen will be doing some demos and showing a ton of samples.
Come on by and see some Magic! I have seen a lot of her samples at various trade shows and they are absolutely amazing. Come see how easy it is to make interactive cards. If you want to make some yourself Karen is teaching two classes.

 AMPED UP POP 'N CUTS




CLASS #1: AMPED UP POP 'N CUTS Saturday June 1st, 2-5pm, $30
Description: Join Karen to learn some "amped up" techniques using Sizzix Pop 'n Cuts dies plus add-on techniques to take the cards to the next level. Three "amped up" cards will be completed in class plus a fourth card using the brand new Chair Pop 'n Cuts insert with companion Foyer Textured Impressions Set. 

Please bring these tools and supplies to class:  Scissors & trimmer, Tape Runner (or favorite paper adhesive), Mini glue dots, Fine line glue pen, Scoring tool & ruler (I recommend an embossing stylus if you have one), Tiny Attacher (if you have one), Needle-nosed pliers (if you have them) - helpful for working with jump rings, Sanding block, Coordinating inks and blending tools or sponge, Optional: markers or chalks for coloring embossed scene (this can always be done at home later), Camera or smart phone for taking photos of all my sample cards (Karen brings A SUITCASE FULL OF SAMPLES!).

JOURNEY  


CLASS #2: JOURNEY Sunday, June 2nd 10:30am - 1:30pm, $30

Join Karen to create four pop-up cards using her brand new "Journey" collection of inserts and accessories for the Pop 'n Cuts system. Card themes include Celebrate, Thinking of You, Hello and Coffee.
