Aren't these just so amazing. I love the way she made these Brownies, so original and yes they taste just as great as they look. (There were a lot more but, we ate them before I thought to take a photo) A feast for the eyes and the tummy!!

Hero Arts 2010 Stamps Release Party

We had a lot of fun at our Hero Arts Stamp Event Saturday. We got most of our Stamps Thursday (with me panicking that the last box would not get here in time) and Hero Arts overnighted us the rest of the stamps for friday so we were all ready.

Classes in January

I can't believe it is almost the end of 2009 let alone 7 days till Christmas. Where on earth did the time go??? I have a million things to do, like start my Christmas Shopping. (Luckily I did not take my Christmas Tree down last year, So I have that done) I will have to take a day off work next week to get some shopping done.

At the store we have been very busy getting classes done by the end of the year and working on the Calendar for January. Our first Quickutz meeting was a lot of fun even if it was hampered by the torrential rain. We even had a free comedy show at the Morning Meeting. Yes, Helen our headline act will be making another guest appearance at January's Club Meeting.

Here is the Great Impressions Class coming in January.

New Hero Arts Stamps

We received our shipment of the 2010 Hero Arts Stamps and Catalogs.
OMG, these stamps are cute!!!!

There are so many of them that I am just going to have to have for myself.

CHA Sneak Peeks

As most of you know the CHA Trade Show is coming up in January. Which means that Sneak Peeks are starting to emerge on all the new products. I will post images and details every so often :)

I did mention earlier about some of the new Tim Holtz products. I do know a little more about the Sizzix Dies, one is called Tattered Floral, another makes Grunge Paper Roses. There are 18 of them. I am going to be getting all of them!!! and of course all his new 12 Distress Colors.

Heidi Swapp has teamed up with Tattered Angels to create some new products including new Glimmer Mist Colors.

Monet Watercolor

Each month we add to our binder of techniques with samples and instructions. This month we will be making Fall Scenes. You do need to complete the Monet Class 1 before taking any of the other Monet Classes, class 1 gives you the binder and the basic instructions to continue onto any of the other classes

Quickutz Club

Thursday 17th 10:30 or 6:00pm

6 Month membership required.

Basic Membership: As part of the membership each month you receive a free Quickutz die and will make a Card, tag, or ATC item with it. Cost $60 for 6 months

Scrapbook Membership: receive a free Quickutz die every month and we will make a Scrapbook page with the die. Cost $90 for 6 months

Copic 101

Learn from a certified Copic Instructor how to get the most out of these amazing markers. We will be using the Airgun, Blender Pen and Sketch markers. Learn multiple basic blending techniques as you learn to color like a pro. You will need a Copic “Blender” Pen for the class.



Advanced Copic
Sunday December 20th 2:00pm
Building on the 101 Class we will learn some new techniques with these fabulous alcohol makers.

We have more of The Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas ready for you to make. There are six to choose from and we will make even more of them in the next couple of days. We have managed to make them a little simpler for you by doing some of the steps ahead of time.

Tim is always such an inspiration and I look forward to seeing him again soon. Rosemary would like me to kick him tho because I made her do most of the involved parts :) to make things easier for you.

Sizzix Dies

We received some more Sizzix Dies today including these Border dies.

This one would be very nice to use for Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and Anniversary invitations.

I have tons of samples dancing in my head right now. Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow to make them.
