One of the most exciting products Michelle came back with from the last CHA was the new Sizzix eclips machine - this new die cutting machine has proven to be high quality, easy to use, and supremely fun.
It has a lot of unique features, including the ability to score, rotate designs, and draw with any pen. In fact, we just got in some new cartridges:
For all you Tim Holtz lovers, though, by far the favorite feature is going to be the ability to cut out Tim Holtz stamps and designs. This machine can save you SO much time and provides such precision that you'll never want to hand cut an image again.
Take a closer look at last weekend's make and take and you'll see what I'm talking about:
Look not only at the delicacy and exactitude (yes, that's really a word!) of the cutting on the outer edges, but also the ability to get into and remove all of those hard to reach inner white spaces - all done with a few little clicks. So, you use Tim Holtz stamps to stamp the train track onto the background and to stamp the train, then you use the eclips and a Stamp 2 Cut cartridge to cut out the train and the shadow - how awesome is that???
There are nineteen - yes 19 - different cartridges to work with, and with each cartridge you can cut out a mutltitude of Tim Holtz stamps, or just use the cartridge without the stamp to cut your own custom sized Tim Holtz die cuts. Here's a sneak peak of just a few of the cartridges:
For those of you who, like me, need a visual, check out this awesome demonstration video:
We know you're going to love these - come on and get them while they last!
(PS - A little birdie told me that Tim is releasing 5 more new cartridges to match the newly released stamp sets - whoopie!! Stay tuned.... )
