Classes (And a BIG Event!) This Weekend...

In case you missed the first blog post (here), I wanted to take a quick second to remind everyone about the Hero Arts 2013 Preview Party this Saturday December 15th from 10:30-1:30... we'll have the new 2013 catalog and many of the new stamps available before everyone else in the market - and as if that weren't enough, we're serving refreshments!  Yowza!!!

After the Hero Arts party, Michelle is teaching the second monthly A2Z of Me art jounaling class from 3pm to 5pm... this month we're focusing on the letter "x" so make sure you bring in some X-tra special X-word findings!  I'd show you the picture of her page, but it's XXX rated... which means, of course, it's not QUITE done yet... ;)

On Sunday we'll have the final meetings of the ATC club and the Altered Book Club... the groups have decided to begin a new club in January called the Altered Reality Therapy Club in January, so if you've been waiting to join these creative ladies mark your January calendars!  The clubs are having their holiday potluck this month, so if you're a member don't forget to bring your dish...

This Saturday from 11am to 1pm, Michelle is teaching the second segment of the A 2 Z of Me in Art Journaling; the class is working on the letter "N".  

Then on Sunday from 1pm to 3pm Tamara is teaching Magnolia - the project is a fall wall hanging.

Smash is back!

Smash is back! OK, well, it never actually went anywhere; we were just sold out of a lot of the little smashing goodies, and now they're back! We got in some great pockets that you can stuff full of delicious memorabilia:

We also got more of the mini Smash journals - we are particularly glad to see these since they flew out the door so fast last time that anyone who blinked missed them:





Don't forget, Amy's next Smash club is Saturday, July 7th at 2pm. This month everyone is coming with two items made - one to trade and one to smash with. The trading item should be something that you are good at, something you want to share with others, and the one to smash with should be a new technique or something you've tried for the first time. It's going to be so much fun - be sure not to miss out!
