ATC Club Meeting

Today we had an ATC Club meeting, where we swapped ATC's with each other and did an ATC make and Take. Our theme this month was "Under the Sea"

Here is Daisy admiring some of her swaps. I wish I had taken a photo of all the magnificant work that everyone created. I will try to remember to take a photo tomorrow.

Our theme for next month is "Ladies"

We are thinking about starting an Altered Book Swap Club. Here each member has a book and picks a theme for her book such as Travel or Romance. At the meeting they pass their book onto someone else and that person has to do two pages in the book according to the theme. At the next meeting the books get passed to someone else. At the end of 12 months you would get your book back with 24 completed pages. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. Call us or send us an email if it is something you might be interested in joining :)

Kokuyo - OH NO

As some of you may be aware our favorite adhesive Kokuyo will no longer be manufacturing their product: The Tape 'n' Roller and the Dot 'n' Roller. We did have a large shipment yesterday and we have two huge shipments arriving sometime next week. But, when this is gone it is gone :(

We will need a replacement so I spoke to a couple of adhesive manufacturers this week and am having some samples sent to me for testing.

I will let you know the results as soon as I can, so don't panic . . . . . . . . just yet :)

Scrap Pink

We are planning a three day event at the end of September for Scrap Pink. This is an event sponsered by Scrapbooks etc. to help raise money in the fight against Breast Cancer.

We will be hosting a crop, a fun filled event and more. Details about the event and crop will be sent next week.

We just wanted to announce in that we are also having an Altered Bra contest in honor of this special event. Here is a wonderful example done by Capella. We will award a prize to the winner :) So ladies get out your bras and get decorating. You have until September 25th to get your submission in.

Abbey Road and new White Flowersoft

Yes, you read correctly. We are lucky to be the first store to have the new My Minds Eye, Abbey Road collection. Fun papers and embellishments I can't wait to start creating!!!

We also have the new Polar White and Autumn Flowersoft.

This is a speciaity color with unique properties. You will be amazed at the semi translucent and frosted effects of Polar White, which has been specifically created to work on white areas within designs. Polar White is set to be the season’s sensation by giving the most realistic snow effects ever seen in paper crafts.

We also have all the new Martha Stewart Punches including the infamous Drippy Goo.
