Bo Bunny and Beatriz - A Beautiful Combination!

So we got in two great new collections from Bo Bunny...  Trail Mix and Key Lime. 

We're also super excited to reveal that one of our most beloved guest teachers, Beatriz Guzman, has created beautiful kits using the Key Lime collection - you guys are going to love these layouts!

There are a limited number of the Beatriz kits in stock, so make sure to pop in and pick one up if you want one! (We will ship the kits on request).  You'll get the papers and embellishments along with a photo of the layout to help you put it all together.

Aww.... Michelle Really Knows How to Make Things Easier for Nancy...

So the UPS man came today... sigh.  

With a whole cart full of REALLY BIG BOXES..... sigh, sigh....

I may have to temporarily... VERY TEMPORARILY... rename Nancy.  "PN" may need to stand for Poor Nancy instead of Perfect Nancy... just for a little while....

After all, Dyan Reaveley will be here THIS WEEKEND!  And we're trying to get the store in order.  Well, not really we.  I mainly do the blog, as you know.  And Michelle pretty much handles the planning and business end of things.  Which means, really, that PN is getting the store ready for Dyan's visit.

So, probably, she will not appreciate all these extra boxes of product to deal with, on top of the cleaning and decorating and prepping...

So, maybe, I feel just the tiniest bit sorry for PN.  Really, a very, very tiny bit.

After all, Michelle IS a very good boss.  Just look at what some of the new boxes contained:

All kinds of extra hands for Nancy!!!  Get it?  Extra hands?  Hee hee hee....

Truthfully, though, I have to admit the box of hands kind of creeped me out.  I'm not sure what Michelle's exact plan is for these hands, but I let her know straight away that if any heads popped out of the box I was out of here!!! 

I am happy to report that no heads appeared, although I'm not sure why... 

After all, if she WAS thinking of Nancy when she ordered the hands she would have known she needed to order a few extra heads as well... ;)

Spring Flowers Have Arrived!

Yes, spring has sprung here at your favorite scrapbook store!  We just got in some AMAZING new Sizzix thinlit dies from designer Susan Tierney Cockburn... a whole garden's worth, in fact! 

These new dies are SO sweet - they come packaged as seed packs, with all the dies you need inside the pack to create your favorite flowers... here's a look at some of the flowers you can create:

Of course, no proper garden is complete without a beautiful bird house, and Susan has designed an incredible 3-D birdhouse die to accompany her new collection:

One of the great things about the store having a dedicated Design Team is....

Drum roll please....

They design stuff!  One of my favorite things about this hobby is seeing things that other people have made... it's so interesting to me to see how you can hand three people the same set of materials and you will get back three completely different projects. 

Case in point: ESS Design Team member Luci latest creation, a gorgeous mini book created from Authentique's Grace paper line.  Luci took the companion pack of embellishment folders:
