What a whirl wind the last few months have been! We have so much to share with you it’s tough to know where to begin. Actually, no, it’s not. By far one of the coolest events we’ve planned happened back in March – a Paper Muse Cruise to Cozumel and Belize aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas!!!
We had SO much fun on this event! Michelle taught three different mixed media classes. The first was a hand constructed art journal incorporating many mixed media techniques on water color paper.
The second class was canvas art using Tim Holtz Distress Paints and beeswax:
Just look at some of the beautiful projects participants created:
Love those! The final project was a mariner’s box, designed specifically to be able to incorporate found objects from the cruise!
In the final class Michelle shared fun art journaling techniques and ideas:
Just look at all the fun the ladies were having:
Doesn’t it look like everyone had an amazing time??? Oh yeah, I guess I should mention that they did go on excursions to Belize and Cozumel. Go figure. You can see where my interests lie! Here’s a few shots from Belize:
And here’s some beautiful dancers in Cozumel:
Sadly, not everyone got to go on this cruise… sniff sniff. However, Michelle really brought her cruise experiences to life on her blog – you should definitely check it out.
And if you’re feeling left out, don’t feel sad. Our next cruise, in 2015, will be headed to Alaska!! Whoop whoop!!! So excited – if you want to start planning for it be sure to check out this post for all the details!
