Fancy Nancy's Favorite Finds - Post #1

O Rosemary, Rosemary!  wherefore art thou, Rosemary?

For those of you who don't know, Rosemary and I are temporarily separated.  Sigh...  We normally work Wednesdays alone together, but unfortunately my school schedule had to change this term.  So now I work on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays.  Which means, now instead of working together we each have a day working with PN (Perfect Nancy, also known as Fancy Nancy).  Oh, the horror!

I think Rosemary is a little upset with me... she heard a rumor that since we're not working together anymore, I'd probably make fun of her on the blog.  (Wonder who started THAT rumor?  Hmmm....)  I heartily reassured her that it didn't matter if we work together or not - everyone is fair game on the blog!   It didn't seem to matter though - last week I went to my car to find a decapitated Magnolia head in the front seat of my car.  I fear it was a warning from Rosemary - you know she has those Italian connections...

So, I decided maybe I better start a new feature article - Fancy Nancy's Favorite Finds.  (This is sure to appease Rosemary - I hope I hope...)  Plus, all the alliteration in our new feature article title just makes my OCD heart happy... :)

Each post will be about all about little things that Nancy {hearts}.  Since so many of our customers seem to be deluded with the idea that Nancy has a great eye for things (personally, I don't get it...)  I thought it would be fun to showcase a few of her favorite new arrivals.  I'm pretty sure I can manage to do this without offending anyone terribly.  Have to protect those little Magnolias, after all....

At the top of Fancy Nancy's list this week are these adorable hangers from Melissa Frances:

How cute are those??  We also got in some adorable white zipper ribbon, which you can use to make awesome flowers with a vintage twist:

Nancy also has special feelings for this new canvas kit from Quick Quotes:

This kit makes a very cool shadow box - there are laser cut die cuts, a beautiful butterfly transparency, and the amazing paper quotes that Quick Quotes is famous for... if you're looking for an extra-special handmade holiday gift, this would be a great choice!

I have to admit, Nancy made some pretty cool choices this go around... we'll just have to wait and see what she picks for next week.

While we're on the Fancy Nancy subject, she did come up with a new idea many of you will be excited about.  She's created a basket of gently used stamps (stamps we've used for samples or classes) that you can now purchase for reduced prices.  These are a first come, first serve kind of deal, so even though I'm going to put a picture here, keep in mind that by the time you come rushing in, the stamps seen in this picture might not be here anymore....

That Nancy - always getting into something.  What will she think of next?  Tune in next week to find out.  In the mean time, did I mention how wonderful Rosemary is and how much I really REALLY miss working with her?  I'm just sayin'.....
